This picture was taken in 1929, after the funeral of Henry Thomas Eames (insert picture). There were 12 living children since their oldest son was killed when he was 11 years old. He fell off a wagon and hit his head on a rock. Once he died, my Grand-dad J Roy Eames became their oldest living son.
My Great Aunt Leona is the 4th girl from the right in the back row. She is now 103 years old and the only living sibling. My grand-dad J Roy Eames is the second from the left in the back row. He lived to be 99 years old.
Longivity runs in the Eames family!
Grandpa was 99 and 4 months old when he died. Aunt Leona died at 104 years.
