"Summers almost here.....We can now see the deer moving around.
Yep, won't be long now."

This picture and saying was sent to me by my cousin Ruth.
I got a kick out of it since this is how we are all feeling.

Today and yesterday we got 5 more inches of snow. Will this
Winter ever end?

We've made it to 44 years! What a wonderful evening we had last night.

Notice the beautiful sweater and shirt I bought Don. He seems to really
like it and it looks so nice on him.

We began our Anniversary evening by eating out at Red Lobster. What
a wonderful feast of grilled lobster, scallops and shrimp. We used the
gift card that Dadra and Jason gave us for Christmas and it was like eat-
ing there free.

Then we went to Cold Stones and had our favorite treat.....again thanks to
Jason and Dadra.

It was a lovely evening and we really enjoyed it.

Don and I feel so blessed to have each other all these years. We
reminisced many memories and are so grateful for our life together.

A SPECIAL EVENT!

Two of 3rd Ward's favorite people lost their spouses last year. Diann Fox and Jack Saari became good friends and were often seen together at the Single Adults Activities.

When Tasha and I were at Walmart shopping, we heard our names and saw a was a very excited Diann running down the isle. She told us the good news of being engaged and the marriage was going to be on Jan. 4th.

Tasha and I were surprised but very happy for her. Diann said that her and Jack had decided to take care of each other for the rest of their lives.

The wedding was last night and what a wonderful turn out there was from all their family and friends from the Stake. Diann asked me to be the photographer for their wedding and so I'm adding a few photo's to my blog to share this event with you.

LET IT SNOW, LET IT SNOW, LET IT SNOW!

WHEN I DECORATE FOR JANUARY, I USED TO SAY, "THERE MIGHT NOT BE MUCH SNOW OUTSIDE, BUT AT LEAST WE HAVE SOME SNOW INSIDE OUR HOME." WELL, THIS YEAR I DON'T HAVE TO SAY THAT. THIS HAS BEEN THE COLDEST AND SNOWIEST WINTER WE HAVE EVER HAD IN OUR 33 YEARS WE'VE LIVED IN GRAND JUNCTION. I THOUGHT I WOULD SHARE A COUPLE OF PICTURES.
