THE HAIR WREATH BECAME MINE.

When Edith lived amongst the Quakers, there were Indians that they had befriended. These Indians made a wonderful hair wreath out of hair and wire. It was a creative art work that they did. My Grandmother gave this wreath to me before she died. I know she knew that I would take good care of it and appreciate it.

I found a wonderful oval frame and painted it silver. Then I bought some lace fabric for the back ground to the Hair Wreath. It now hangs in our purple room where I can enjoy it whenever I want to. This is a keepsake that is special to me that I will hand down to one of my girls some day.
