WOW! 45 YEARS!!

Today is a very special day. It has been 45 years since Don and I were married in the Oakland Temple. We can hardly believe that it has been that long ago. We both looked forward to celebrating this special event.

We had decided to not buy gifts for each other. However, I surprised Don with a new long sleeve shirt and he surprised me with a new Yoshi blade knife set.
We celebrated by
going to Red
Lobster and
enjoying a
wonderful meal.

We then
went to
Cold-
stones
for a
treat.

Thanks Lara, for the
gift certificate. It will
last a couple of more
times this summer when
it's hot. That was really
thoughtful of you.

It was a fun evening and a great way to celebrate this day.

MY CHALLENGES AFTER CHEMOTHERAPY!

In pictures it doesn't show how thin my hair has gotten since my chemo treatments have ended a couple
of months ago. I'm grateful I didn't lose all my hair so I'm not complaining. I guess I was shocked that
it started to fall out more after I was finished with my treatments.
My hairs is very fine with no body to it now. I'm told that this will all take care of
itself with time.

I have a great hair dresser that understands my frustrations and I always love her hair cuts every 6 weeks.

Another challenge is my neuropathy in my hands and feet. They are numb and tingle all the time. They even hurt when I touch my fingertips. It feels a little like sitting on the toilet too long and your legs fall asleep (except it's my hands and it won't go away. I just thought I would share some of my challenges with you.

I do have my energy and appetite back! This is a great blessing. Most of the other side affects are gone too. I am still a little unsteady on my feet but this is connected to the neuropathy. So much for my aches, pains and frustrations.
