RELIEF SOCIETY SPOTLIGHT TODAY

I began my spotlight by sharing how much I
loved BEES. When I turned 12 years old and
became a Beehive in the Young Women's
program, I appreciated BEES and what they
do for us in our lives.
I came across a saying that I loved. It goes
like this...............

IT'S NOT WHAT YOU GATHER, BUT WHAT YOU SCATTER
THAT TELLS THE LIFE YOU HAVE LIVED.

I tied this concept with Visiting Teaching and asked the
Sisters what we scattered when we went and visited the
Sisters in our Ward.

They all came up with wonderful answers

LOVE
FRIENDSHIP
SERVICE
GOSPEL
INFORMATION
HOPE
GOODIES, ECT.

It was a fun 5 minute spotlight!

MARCH IS ALMOST OVER!

I wanted to share some of my favorite St. Patrick's Day pictures through out the years.

MY HISTORIAN HAT

For my spotlight in March I modeled my Historian Hat for the Relief Society Sisters. I explained that I was a historian at heart.
In 1992 I was asked to put our Ward Relief Society History together for the 150th year of R.S. I've always loved R.S. but putting
this history together made my testimony grow even more towards this wonderful organization.

Relief Society is the oldest and largest women's organization in the world. It's based on love and helping people in need. R.S. also
informs and teaches the sisters of the Church each week about life and our role as women. I shared my testimony with the sisters
on how important this Society is and how important Visiting Teaching is to keep track of all the sisters in our Ward.

Thought I would share the spotlight with all of you too.
